Lies, Damned Lies and “Racist” Lies

By conservative (not Conservative) estimates, illegal aliens make up approximately 8% of the workforce and number anywhere between 12,000,000 and 20,000,000 in total population (yeh, some big families there), and of that number nearly 70% are Mexican.
Yep: 70%, or anywhere between 8,400,000 and 14,000,000 of the illegal aliens in this country are invaders from Mexico. I say “invaders” because the Mexican government actively sponsors and aids their defiance of our borders. Surely cassus belli for war, if ever there were such a thing. That’s between 8,000,000 and 14,000,000 criminals (border violation, identity theft, and more) the feddle gummint is doing damn all to protect its citizens from.
I’ve had subliterate morons suggest (suggest, hell! Outright flame!) that I am a racist for posting the following picture of the American flag flown upside down UNDER a Mexican flag–on American soil, no less!–and then suggesting that the proper response to that disgusting display would be to burn and trample the Mexican flag.
Of course, accusing me of racism for suggesting a measured response to those illiteratti who shout “Aztlan!” while disrespecting the American flag (on AMERICAN soil!) and waving Mexican flags ought to have their flag burned and trampled is a measure of just how very stupid these idiots are. I’d suggest they have someone read a dictionary definition to them, but then finding someone with words small enough to explain such a concept to idiots within the limited time frame of their wee little attention spans would render the task impossible. Heck, even attempting to drill through thick skulls to explain that “Mexican” is NOT a “race” would make the labors of Hercules pale in comparison. *sigh*
But all that’s not necessary, you see, because their charge of racism is disingenuous, false on its face, an attempt to discredit without making an argument or addressing the essential immorality of their position. Realizing this, it becomes readily apparent that arguing (or even “discussing vigorously”–which is what argument really is *heh*) with such cretins is simply playing tarbaby. The only possible argument with such as these is to SHOUT LOUDER AND LONGER THAN THEY DO.
Seriously. Not one single solitary self-made idiot who slings false charges instead of arguing their case will EVER be persuaded by honest argument. Indeed, honest argument will simply encourage them to shout liuder with ever more vigorously asserted false statements. With such persons, the ONLY remedy is force, even if only forceful words, repeated until THEY are shouted down.
Don’t get me wrong. As long as someone wants to make an honest argument, I believe the only right thing to do is listen and address their argument reasonably. But that is not what I have seen and heard from the open borders/”transform America into Mexico del Norte” crowd.
“They are doing jobs Americans won’t do.” Lie.
See the aftermath of the Swift plant raids. (All it takes to falsify an argument is to cite one exception, although there are many “exceptions” to this lie.) If the liar promoting the “jobs Americans won’t do” lie refuses to accept fact in opposition, SHOUT THEM DOWN, while loudly, forcefully and repeatedly calling them the liar they are.
Same for the “We cannot deport millions of illegal aliens” liars. Listen very carefully: we don’t need to. Just shut off their jobs, ALL social services and vigorously prosecute and vigorously PUNISH identity theft and all other crimes associated with BEING an illegal alien, and there will be a mass exodus for the borders. (ref: Ike’s 1950s effective border control, below)
That our various governments are not enforcing the laws already on the books makes our governments outlaws. So, punish those charged with enforcing the laws when they choose to let illegal aliens off the hook instead of shoving them in cattle cars when they first come to the attention of law ENFARCEMENT and shipping them back where they came.
That the feddle gummint punishes those who, acting within the legal scope of their jobs and within government guidelines, attempt to protect our borders says we have an outlaw government.
What else? “We must offer amnesty to illegal aliens (but let’s call it something else, so the stupid sheeple won’t know that’s what we’re doing).” Bullshit. /sarcasm/ It worked really, really well when amnesty was offered to ~400,000 illegals in 1986. Why, it worked so well, we now have 35-50 times as many illegals! Great job, dumbasses! /sarcasm off/

And indeed, America should remain open to immigration by those who “…by decency and propriety of conduct they appear to merit” an entry. The first bar to clear would be… getting in line for legal entry! Cutting line ahead of those who do and entering illegally ought to impose a permanent bar to future entry, not just getting in the back of the line, as I once thought would serve. No. A permanent exclusion would send the right message: get in line or stay out, period.
And once here, no waving a Mexican flag and (stupidly) shouting “Aztlan!” or “La Raza” because while we may all have come from elsewhere (including the so-called indigenous folk), if we are citizens of this land, then we are not hyphenated anything; we are Americans.

And see below the fold. The U.S. had runaway levels of illegal aliens (again, like today, almost all from Mexico) in the 1950s. Eisenhower, about to run for preseident, saw what was going on, pegged the problem then (and is it any different today) as corruption in government and set his sights on doing something substantive about it.
He was elected (as all but recent high school graduates know *sigh*) and took serious steps:
…on June 17, 1954, what was called “Operation Wetback” began. Because political resistance was lower in California and Arizona, the roundup of aliens began there. Some 750 agents swept northward through agricultural areas with a goal of 1,000 apprehensions a day. By the end of July, over 50,000 aliens were caught in the two states. Another 488,000, fearing arrest, had fled the country.
By mid-July, the crackdown extended northward into Utah, Nevada, and Idaho, and eastward to Texas.
By September, 80,000 had been taken into custody in Texas, and an estimated 500,000 to 700,000 illegals had left the Lone Star State voluntarily.
Unlike today, Mexicans caught in the roundup were not simply released at the border, where they could easily reenter the US. To discourage their return, Swing arranged for buses and trains to take many aliens deep within Mexico before being set free.
Tens of thousands more were put aboard two hired ships, the Emancipation and the Mercurio. The ships ferried the aliens from Port Isabel, Texas, to Vera Cruz, Mexico, more than 500 miles south.
The sea voyage was “a rough trip, and they did not like it,” says Don Coppock, who worked his way up from Border Patrolman in 1941 to eventually head the Border Patrol from 1960 to 1973.
Mr. Coppock says he “cannot understand why [President] Bush let [today's] problem get away from him as it has. I guess it was his compassionate conservatism, and trying to please [Mexican President] Vincente Fox.”
“…trying to please… Vicente Fox”? No! Not really! Playing lapdog, now that’s more like it! President Bush: Vicente Fox’s Chihuahua.
*sigh*
But Ike knew that actually doing something about the problem was possible and necessary. And so he did something that turned out to be extremely effective.
With fewer Border patrol agents than we have today.
As Jerry Pournelle dryly says, “What man has done, man can aspire to.”
Instead, our feddle gummint wants (apparently, from the efforts of so many congresscritters and President Bush’s administration) to do is give us another round of the 1986 amnesty program that turned 400,000 illegals into 12,000,000 to 20,000,000 illegals… about 70% of whom are MEXICAN illegals.
Ike used trains and ships to deliver ‘em back to deep within Mexican borders. Heck, C-130s, static lines and surplused parachutes would work for me. “Happy landing, Juan! Have a nice trip down, Rosalita, Jesus and Maria!”*
Oh, may I invite those of you who believe as I do that Mexico’s attempts to invade America ought to be outed and shouted down to celebrate “Sinko de Mayo” with me this year. It’s a celebration ridiculing those fake Mexicans who “celebrate” their “heritage” but who also will “bear any burden, pay any price” to escape the land they falsely claim to love so well. (If they love it so much, might I suggest they go home?)
* Yeh, yeh, I know the song was written by a bleeding Red as socialist/communist propaganda, just like his “This Land Is Your Land” was also socialist/communist propaganda, very nearly the Wobblies anthem… and intended as such.
