I ran across R G Combs piece and think he missed the whole point of what Thanksgiving is all about. I tried to leave a comment but it got blocked as spam so I sent him my comment via email; he'd written: "We alone are responsible for our wealth. We are the producers and Thanksgiving is our holiday." Having read the words of William Bradford I find it sad that you would omit the Hand of God, instead claiming that we alone did it, the "arm of flesh" mentality has no room for gratitude which is the true meaning of Thanksgiving. How sad... [<em>Yeh, TF, if all we can say on Thanksgiving is "Thank me, thank me for my blessings" then we are poor indeed.</em>] I was reading the many and varied Thanksgiving articles posted by those I read regularly, yours included.
